Veterans who attend college can enroll in Army ROTC and participate in the two-year program. Their prior military service (in any branch) could fulfill the requirements for the Basic Course, so they could start ROTC in the Advanced Course.
Veterans in ROTC may qualify for up to $4000 and may apply to ROTC scholarships.
Soldiers who have two years of active duty may be eligible for an Army ROTC scholarship. These “Green-to-Gold” scholarships allow selected soldiers to be released from the Army in order to attend college. Interested soldiers should contact the nearest on-campus Army ROTC office or their installation Education Offices for details.
